Paradise

Paradise

Imagine 85 degree weather. The sunshine is bright, and your skin is tan. You’re laying under the Florida Sun. You take a sip of your Coca-Cola, and behind your favorite shades, you smile. The palm trees sway. You dangle your feet over the edge of the canal, right next to your perfect house in the perfect location. With your family and grandparents and great-grandmom; the perfect people. This is called paradise, and I am in paradise now!

The last few weeks have been a blast. We traveled to New York City on a Bolt bus, and  here is a quick summary: we played lots of basketball at Central Park there, and in general, we spent lots of time in Central Park. We had lots of time with Uncle John, Aunt Gae, and cousins Michael and David. Michael gave me my first Frappuccino! We visited the Tenement Museum, (http://www.tenement.org) the  and the Statue of Liberty as well. The video below is a short film by me about New York.

Now we are in the Florida Keys, (Big Pine Key to be exact) having the funnest time. Last night I ate fried fish that we’d caught earlier that day in the ocean. Mmm. After that, we played poker with Mimi, (my great-grandma, so sweet) Mommom (my grand mom) and Pots. (My grand dad.)

I’m just hoping I can make this last as long as I can. I love paradise!

Tell your Dad – the beginning of that post, I thought you were going into the Witness Protection Program. He’ll explain what that means 🙂

Thanks Ed! Hope you had a nice birthday. We visited a musical instrument maker today. Very cool. Adam and Benjamin may learn some stringed instruments. They may be gigging with you before too long. Yee Haw! We’ll talk again soon. We have lots to share already. Love to you all!

Wow! Benjamin! Great video. Helped me start my work day right. I’m going to sit the family down tonight and show them that as well as lots of your other posts.

Looks like you’re wearing your parents out from that picture on the Bolt bus.

Things are going well here at home. Nicholas is having fun being part of the Reynolds HS tennis team. Yesterday he got to miss school for a tournament at T C Roberson, and they ate lunch at Chic Fil A (don’t know how to spell that).

You look like you’re really enjoying the trip. Did you go to the wax museum? Was that really Morgan Freeman or a life size cutout?
