Moving the Trampoline

There have been 1,001 details to work out for this trip on a very short timeline.  Where will we go?  What will we do? How will our kids continue their schooling? Plane tickets, language school, insurance, communications, money, visas… Not to mention moving out of our house, storing furniture, our dog, fish, turtle, renting our house, where will we stay once our house is rented, cars, computers, …  I like to plan ahead and such chaos, unknowing about something critical that must happen, has at times, nearly driven me crazy.  Then, at just the right moment, something happens, or someone shows up, that is the answer to the challenge of the day. There have been so many answers to prayer that I am slowly starting to let go, trust, and watch God work. We are still working feverishly to get it all done before departure, but with a little different mindset than when we started this journey.

I know now more than ever that nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it and if you believe in Gods plan…

and for your journey an Irish Blessing:

“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again may God hold you in the hollow of His hands”

Bob / All – Sounds like you are setting off on an adventure you’ll never forget. Try and let the “planner” in you go – and enjoy each moment as it comes to you. Have a great time!

    Bob,
It is inspiring to read about your plans and adventures, both current and upcoming! I had a long talk with Lisa Forehand recently and she caught me up on some of your mutual experiences and provided me with this blog address. Sorry I didn’t get to connect with you before you left town. I hope you and your family have a rich and exciting year of travel and experiences and look forward to hearing about through your blog posts.
    Peace and best wishes,
    Linda
