Looks like it could be Hawaii (I know it’s Florida). Hope the flight to Ecuador went well,
the high elevation of Quito isn’t too tough for ya’ll, and Banos will be great. I did a lot of walking around the hills there, fantastic walks, and a straight shot down to the jungle!

We shifted our original plans. We’ll be in Peru for 3 months and in Ecuador for 6 months. We are in language school in Cusco for one month and we’ll do the language school in Banos in July for a couple of weeks. Hope all is well in Hawaii!!
Thanks Chuck. We are definitely feeling the altitude. Headaches and shortness of breath. We’ve been drinking coca tea. That helps. We have had a great start here in Cusco. It’s a lovely city and there is so much to see. You’ll appreciate this – today we visited a musical instrument maker. Adam and Benjamin are interested in learning to play stringed instruments, like the eukalali (sp?) – it has a different name here. Anyway, his shop was very cool -everything is authentic and handmade. We might be able to take music lessons. Love to you and Kristi!
We sure do miss you all but love the blogs and photo’s and getting to travel with you in this special way. Love to all. Stay safe and prayers are covering you. love Nicky, Mike and Chase
Hi Carrie,
Glad to hear you and family are enjoying Peru. Love reading about your adventures. Keep the blogs coming. So happy you could do this as a family. What a history lesson for your boys.
Hi Teresa! You must be getting excited about your travel. Soon, huh? Your trip will also be a milestone in your girls’ lives. Totally awesome. Can’t wait to hear about your experiences.
