Moved Out
It was hard moving out of our house. We had to clean out 9 years of files, school projects, and more. Imagine everything you have in your house, pictures, dishes, furniture, yes everything. That’s what it felt like. Our weekends consisted of cleaning out, and sports breaks. We moved out of our house about a week ago. This was a big relief to my family as we no longer had to stress out with cleaning the house.
We couldn’t have done this “move” (we are renting out the house during our sabbatical) without help from our friends. Many of them helped us pack away dishes, move the trampoline, and have given us strong encouragement. I am very grateful for all of their help. We are currently living in a friend’s extra space, which has made the whole thing easier. As my mom says, “Want a friend? Be a friend.” I have also noticed that through the whole process there has been an unseen hand, God’s, guiding things. Some things are just too coincidental to be coincidental. He leads us, giving us connections, strengthening our faith, and seeing us through our storms.
I have also transferred out of my high school, to an online high school program. This is the way I will continue my studies while we are in South America. I miss my school friends already, but it makes it easier knowing when we return we will go to the same schools, and that our friends will still be there.
Please reply and keep in contact with my family and I via posts on this website or through my email address on GoGiveLearn.com
